Peaches and Cream Smoothie

Our Peaches and Cream Smoothie is a delightful alternative to sugary shakes and other high-calorie treats. In this smoothie, our ingredients triumph over bad-health ingredients that may taste good going down, but can take a serious toll on your health. We’ve included coconut cream and bee pollen—just a few flavorful features that we’re sure you will prefer over the usual high-calorie, high-sugar offenders, like whipped cream and coffeehouse syrups.

The Peaches and Cream Smoothie will taste as good as the ingredients you select, so choose fresh peaches and resist canned, syrupy varieties. Opt for freshly picked mint, fresh coconut cream, and the highest grade bee pollen. The mint and bee pollen combination yields a mildly sweet, floral tang that few commercial beverages can match. This smoothie is a guilty pleasure, but without the guilt.

Peaches and Cream Smoothie

  • Servings: 1
  • Ready In: 5 minutes

  • 2 cups frozen peaches
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1 handful of mint
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon bee pollen

Health Benefits

  • Peaches: are stone fruits that contain phenolic compounds with anti-inflammatory characteristics.

  • Coconut: boasts a high concentration of protein. One-fourth cup of coconut equals 1.5 grams of protein. Just about every life function requires protein at some point.

  • Mint: is, perhaps, nature’s most soothing herbal remedy. Adding this digestion-friendly plant to any treat stimulates relaxation mode in the brain.

  • Chia: provides all nine of the essential amino acids that the body cannot synthesize on its own: valine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, threonine, lysine, methionine, histidine, leucine, and isoleucine. Amino acids are the building blocks for short and long chains of amino acids, which are proteins.

  • Bee pollen: is a sweet, low-glycemic alternative to commercial-grade sugars that many scientists believe are highly addictive and responsible for the recent upsurge in type 2 diabetes cases, especially among young children and young adults. Bee pollen also has appetite-suppressant attributes.
